Our Process
We Keep It Simple and Personal.
Every project begins with an in-person visit to your site — we walk the space, listen to your vision, and explore what’s possible based on the natural surroundings. From there, we create a tailored plan and provide a detailed estimate that reflects our commitment to the highest quality craftsmanship. Our designs are creative, water-wise, and rooted in the natural beauty and resilience of California’s native plants.
Maintenance & Care
One of the key benefits of choosing a native garden is reduced maintenance over time. In the first year, we recommend about six visits to monitor plant health, check soil conditions, perform natural pruning, manage weeds, and supplemental watering. This foundational care helps ensure the landscape establishes properly.
After the first year, most native landscapes require just two to three visits annually. These include seasonal pruning, deadheading, and occasional winter watering during especially dry years.
For clients with small lawn areas, we also offer a mowing service — exclusively for landscapes we’ve designed and installed.
Our maintenance philosophy is a natural approach that promotes the long-term health and vitality of your landscape.
